We find that we spend little time in our hotel room, so we don't need to stay in posh, expensive hotels, although if we can get a great room rate, we certainly will treat ourselves to the best. This weekend we're going to Sedona, AZ, one of the most gorgeous places near home. I was able to make discount hotel reservations at a place that has a microwave and refrigerator in the room and an incredible view of the red rocks of Sedona, shown in the picture. We enjoy eating breakfast in our room, and heading out to hike in this incredible country.
