Recently, I had a discussion with my brother regarding our travel plans in November to attend an upcoming wedding. I thought I had gotten a good deal on my flight by booking it through the Travelocity website. I got a good rate for two round-trip air fares to Dallas. My brother, on the other hand, booked his flights, his hotel, and a rental car through Orbitz, and his total price was only about $50-60 more than I paid for just my flights. That just served to remind me that if you're looking for Hawaii travel deals, Spain budget travel or whatever, you're better off booking everything as a package. Some of the Disney vacation packages are pretty good deals, with good meals and good service and amenities, as long as you're careful about any extras you throw in, which will, of course, drive up the price. Personally, I think that the best way to get discount hotel reservations and cheap cruise packages is to book everything so that the price you pay is all-inclusive.
