cruise packages

If you're just not in the mood to visit Grandpa and Nana this holiday season, perhaps a trip to Hawaii or some other fun destination is more the ticket. According to Dan Balcar, the online travel writer for the San Antonio Express-News, "The holidays aren't here yet, but it's not too early to plan that winter getaway after the presents are put away. If you're ready to make a decision on a cruise, Carnival is offering a little extra incentive if you book today. You can get $100 shipboard credit per stateroom on seven-day cruises, including on the Carnival Conquest out of Galveston on Feb. 24, from $599 per person. You can get $50 credit per stateroom on five-day sailings, including on the Carnival Ecstasy sailing from Galveston on Feb. 4 for as little as $399 per person." And discount cruise packages aren't the only deals being offered this holiday season. For example, Balcar also tracked down some good Hawaii travel deals, "Want to get to Hawaii in January without taking all day? For less than $500 plus tax you can get from San Antonio to Honolulu with only one stop in Oakland or Las Vegas on ATA or one stop in Los Angeles on a United-Delta combination itinerary. A trip on U.S. Airways takes you from San Antonio to Kona on the Big Island for about the same money with a plane change in Phoenix. If you book by the end of the month using a MasterCard, Travelocity will give you an extra $150 off a Hawaii flight-hotel combo through Jan. 31. Prices start at less than $900 for seven nights and air to Oahu, and air and a three-star hotel can be had for about $1,100." If you're flexible about dates, then it's clear that there are Las Vegas packages, Hawaii travel packages deals, and even cruise packages available. But don't delay. These deals won't last forever.
