I was looking into taking a trip to Italy after the first of the year and I found some really great deals with Gate1travel.com. They offer travel packages to Italy for $699. This includes air from New York City and land travel while you are there. Their travel packages include Rome, Venice, and Florence. It looks like their travel packages to Italy allow choices on hotels, too. They have nine hotels to choose from in Rome and nine to choose from in Florence. I am so excited to keep looking for travel packages to Italy. I had no idea I could go for so little. I have been reading a bit about their trips and it looks like this is a special that includes rail to and from the destinations. I wonder if this is the famous Eurorail that I have heard about.
I can’t wait to try the food either. Doesn’t some warm authentic Italian sound wonderful in the dead of winter? My parents (my dad on business) spent a year and a half in Italy and said it was absolutely wonderful. I can’t wait!
